The Greene County girls track team won five events and placed second in six more at the Audubon Early Bird track meet on April 2. Other schools competing were AHSTW (Avoca), Audubon, Ar-We-Va, Exira/EHK, Fremont-Mills, Griswold, Logan-Magnolia, Missouri Valley, Treynor, Tri-Center (Neola), Underwood, West Harrison, and Woodbine. No team scores were tallied at this meet.
Although all of the schools were smaller than Greene County, there were some 2014 state place winners participating at Audubon. Rebecca Topham led the Griswold squad to a second place team finish in Class 1A by winning the 3000 meter run, the 1500 meter run, the 800 meter run, and the 400 hurdles. Her teammate Alyx Flippin was also sixth in the 1500 meter. Megan Maaske from Woodbine was a top five finisher in the 1A 1500 and 3000 meters, and Michelle Mumm from Tri Center was sixth in the 1A 800 and third in the 3000.
At Audubon, Greene County won the shuttle hurdle relay ( Eme Johnson, Sarah Sandage, Nadia Fisher, Mollie Sorber),  the 4 x 100 relay (Sorber, Megan Durbin, Hannah Stein, Fisher), and the 4 x 400 relay (Johnson, Emma Saddoris, Emily Christensen, Olivia Hansen). They also got first place finishes from Hansen in the 200 meter dash and from Hannah Onken in the discus throw.
