Paup also placed in the top six in the 200 meter dash, the 400 meter dash, and the 100 meter hurdles. Carey set a new personal record and took second in the 400 meter dash, and was also a member of two P-C relay teams that placed in the top six.

Other Rockets that placed in the top six in individual events were Emma Tilley in the 800 meter run, Kailee Hanlon in the discus, and Noah Juergensen in the discus and shot put. “Both Carleigh and Jake had solid nights,” said coach Chris Stimson. “Carleigh increased her long jump by almost a foot. Jake ran strong in the 400 and 800. This conference meet was very challenging. I am very proud of how all of the athletes performed. Dylan Burgart shaved another six seconds off of his 800 leg of the 4 x 800. I still think that there is a little more left in their tanks that I have to get them to use.”
