Private graveside services for Wendell Lindahl were held Aug. 20 at the Highland Twp. Cemetery in Bayard, with military rites by the United States Navy Funeral Honors.

Larry Dean Johnson, 63, passed away unexpectedly Aug. 2.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. 

Aaron Clay Knosp, 59, passed away in Tucson, Ariz., on Aug. 8 after being struck and killed by a drunk driver while riding his Indian motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Funeral services for Phil Sloan were held Friday, Aug. 7, 2020 at Gospel Open Bible Chuch in Jefferson with Pastor Chad Cummings as officiant.

William (Bill) Leo Dunivan passed away on Aug. 5 in the oncology wing of Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames after a yearlong battle with cancer.

Funeral services for Arline Robbins, 94, who died July 28, were held Aug. 1 at the First United Methodist Church, Jefferson, with words of comfort by the Rev. Julie Poulsen.

Patricia (Patty) Jean Kundrat passed away in Des Moines on Aug. 2.

Born in Jefferson on Feb. 8, 1955, Patty was the third of six children of George and Mary Dowling Kundrat.

David Benjamin Luther, son of Dave and Pat Meyer Luther, was born Aug. 12, 1973, in Jefferson. Ben died at his home in Grimes on July 25 at the age of 46.
