Zachary Fox

Zachary William Fox, 35, son of Daryl Fox and Mary (Gibson) Donovan, was born March 25, 1981 in Guthrie Center, Iowa. He passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2016 at his home in Scranton.

Zachary graduated from Jefferson-Scranton High School in 1999. Following high school he made his home in Jefferson before moving to Scranton around 2002-2003. In 2001, he went to work at Pella Windows in Carroll. Zachary started out as a operator and worked his way up the ladder to Department Manager at the time of his death.

He enjoyed car stereos, bikes, bicycling, gaming and spending time with his nephews. He was a member of the Rasmussen Bike Shop Team out of  West Des Moines.

Zachary is survived by his sisters, Cindi Fox of Des Moines and Jess Fox of Coon Rapids; and nephews, Jeremy and Bret Howard. He was preceded in death by his father, grandfather and grandmother Fox, and grandfather and grandmother Gibson.

Memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Scranton Gymnasium, in Scranton, Iowa. Burial of his cremains will be held at a later date.  

Memorials may be left to the Central Iowa Trail Association of Des Moines, Iowa.
