Marilyn Rowles

Marilyn Rowles passed away peacefully at her home on July 20, 2019.  She was 92 years of age.

Mass of the Resurrection was held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction, with Fr. John Gerald of St. Joseph Catholic Church presiding. In lieu of flowers, contribution can be made to Mount Calvary Cemetery Fund [Grand Junction] or St. Joseph Catholic Church. 

 Margaret Marilyn Rowles was born on March 31, 1927 to Tom and Teresa (Schall) Gannon. Marilyn was an active member of St. Brigid Catholic Church in Grand Junction, Iowa, 9 Holers Golf League at Apache Wells in Mesa, Arizona, and numerous clubs and organizations.  She was always willing to share her time and talents with others.  Marilyn enjoyed playing bridge, sewing, golfing, fishing and square dancing.   Her favorite times, though, were the ones spent with her family and friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by Warren, her husband of over 62 years; her daughter-in-law Judy Rowles; and her granddaughter Teresa Fagen.  Marilyn is survived by her children Lynn (Dennis) Havlicek of Veseli, Minnesota; Rosemary (Dominic) Riccordino of Oak Lawn, Illinois; Peggy (Steve) Fagen of Perry, Iowa; and Tom (Jayne) Rowles of Oxford, Iowa; 13 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

 Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home of Jefferson was in charge of arrangements.
