Marcia Lynn

On October 2, 1950, Marcia Lynn (Carlson) Lane daughter of Derrald and Barbara (Bragg) Carlson, of Webster County Iowa with her brother Rob and Richard and sister Sheila. 

Matt Lane Jr. married in 1997 and together until death on Wednesday, June 28, 2023.

Marcia was loved by all who knew her. She worked many jobs in her lifetime, from Sunday school teacher to over-the-road truckdriver.

She drove a truck for nearly 35 years, winning many awards such as driver of the month for Werner Transport two times along with being inducted into the Million Mile Club, having driven well over a million miles in her career. She and Matt were team drivers, traveling from coast to coast for over twenty years until their retirement in 2008. Her favorite place to be was home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son.

Therefore, a celebration of Marcia’s life will be held at the home she and Matt shared at 604 11th St. N, Grand Junction, Iowa, on Sunday, July 9th from 1:00 - 5:00. Bring a covered dish and a chair. Be prepared to share some memories and make even more.
