Joseph Busch

 Joseph Wayne Busch, Jr. was born October 11, 1937 at Winterset.  He was the son of Joseph Wayne Busch, Sr. and Jean Crawford Busch. Joe started school in Winterset. When the family moved to Cooper, Joe attended school there.  Joe was one of the original employees at AAI in Jefferson where he became a shipping manager. He received the first award for “20 Years of Service” at AAI.

Joe had many interests. Through the years, he enjoyed Harley motorcycles, antique cars, hunting and fishing, boating, and spending time at Black Hawk Lake.  His grandchildren were a very special enjoyment. Joe was a hard worker. He was kind, generous, and loving, dedicated to his family and loyal to his friends. His passing will leave a big hole in the hearts of many.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Mike, a sister, Mary Morse, and an infant sister, Violet.

Survivors include two daughters:  Jody Carnes (Russ) of Grimes and Susan Forkner (Duane) of Jefferson; two sons: Gary Busch (Candi) of Rippey Steve Busch of Fort Dodge; brother, Jerry Busch (Ruth)  of Lohrville; sister, Doris Tipton of Rippey; companion, Mardelle Busch of Grimes; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
