Elizabeth Carlstrom

Elizabeth Ann (Bohn) Carlstrom was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on April 23, 1937. She died on Jan. 9 in Baltimore after suffering a stroke six weeks earlier.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bohn; mother, Helen Bohn; brother, Joseph Albert Bohn; and her ex-husband, David Carlstrom. 

She is survived by her sister, Helen Nevot, of Fort Worth; and four children: Thor Carlstrom, of Henderson, Texas; Nils Carlstrom, of Fort Worth; Liisa Schmitt, of Minneapolis; and Stina Pillion, of Lewes, Del. She has 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Liz attended Lindenwood College and the Presbyterian Church of Christian Education. She was an accomplished church organist and director of Christian Education. After retiring, she devoted herself to the care of children and being a good neighbor. 

She will be remembered for her faith, kindness, quick wit and welcoming spirit.
