Dale Tasler

Dale Leroy Tasler died Mar. 4 at the age of 75. He was born to Joseph and Bertha Tasler on June 9, 1938 near Churdan and farmed in the area his entire life. On September 2, 1961 he was united in marriage to Janice Kennedy. He was actively involved in the Catholic Church, Lions Club and American Legion.

He is survived by his wife Janice; sister-in-law Amelia Carlin (Robert); brother Darvin Tasler (Margarette); brother–in-law Paul Bogard; daughters: Kelli Nelsen, Diane Miller, Chris Tasler and Teresa Richardson (Curt); grandchildren: Dustin Nelsen, Nathan Miller, Maria Miller, Jessica Miller, Lucas Grieder, Tess Richardson and Brad Richardson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother Derald “Bud” Tasler; sisters: Regina Tasler and Dorene Bogard.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10 a.m. Mar. 8 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in Churdan with private burial at St. Patrick’s Cedar Cemetery.
