Beatrice Turner

Beatrice Arlene Turner, 84, daughter of George & Hazel (Frankhouser) MacDonald, was born May 16, 1934 in Scranton, Iowa. She passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at the Dallas County Hospital in Perry, Iowa.

Beatrice graduated from Churdan High School in 1953 where she played on the state basketball team for three years. On January 30, 1954, she married Charles Turner in Churdan. They made their home on a farm near Redfield, where they have lived ever since. Beatrice was a farm wife, homemaker and also cleaned homes for many years.

She loved flowers, collecting Santa Clauses and Christmas time.

Beatrice is survived by her husband, Charles Turner of Redfield; daughter, Carolyn (John) Ricker of Maxwell; great-grandchildren, Shasta and Chasity Moody; and sister, Daisy Kersey of Perry. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Jacobson; and brothers, Chris and Homer MacDonald.

 Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
