Grow Greene County is showing its support to the Class of 2020 with yard signs for each student. Personalized yard signs were delivered to the 99 Greene County High School graduates after first being set up Friday in the yard of language arts teacher Kirsten Carman. Fort Dodge-based NEW Cooperative, in partnership with the Land O’ Lakes Foundation, recently donated 3,000 pork loins to 23 food pantries in its trade territory, including the Greene County Christian Action Resource Center in Jefferson. NEW Cooperative purchased the loins from the Prestage Farms plant in Eagle Grove, and with help from Decker Truck Line of Fort Dodge, was able to get the pork loins to a central location for distribution.
