New ER opening at GCMC

Effective Monday, emergency care at the Greene County Medical Center will move to the new addition.

Many other services — including acute nursing, obstetrics, surgery, imaging and lab — will have relocated there as well.

For the ER, patients should use the new ER drive off Grimmell Road and park on the east side of the new addition. Patients can walk directly into the ER.

For other appointments, park in the main lot off Lincoln Way and come in through the hospital’s main entrance. Registration will take place in the main lobby.

To visit specialists or the clinic, park in the lower clinic parking lot and enter the doors there.

The clinic entrance can be used to access Advanced Women’s Care, West Central Orthopedics, 21st Century Rehab, Diabetes Management, Cardiac Rehab, Respiratory/Sleep Medicine, UnityPoint Clinic and UnityPoint at Home.
