Everyone 16 and older now eligible for COVID-19 vaccine

Greene County Public Health has expanded eligibility to offer the COVID-19 vaccine to everyone 16 years and older at Wednesday’s community clinic.

Public Health will hold the first mass COVID-19 vaccination clinic from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the ballroom at Wild Rose Casino.

Appointments are required to receive one of the 1,170 available doses of the Pfizer vaccine.

Those receiving their first dose Wednesday will receive their second shot from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 21.

To sign up for an appointment, visit: https://hipaa.jotform.com/210826036490149

If unable to access the registration form due to internet access, call Greene County Public Health at 515-386-0564 for assistance.

Those attending should bring their health insurance card and should plan to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to their appointment time to avoid overcrowding. However, those without insurance will not be turned away.

Everyone must wear a mask at the clinic site and maintain social distancing. Greene County Public Health staff, Greene County Medical Center staff, local pharmacists and their staff, as well as Greene County Medical Reserve Corps volunteers, will be helping at this clinic.
